As an animal lover I would be mortified and probably would be in prison for beating the ever loving shit outa someone had it been a puppy or kitten. I couldnt imagine how the fluffs continue on or how the mental states of retail workers suffer from shit like this.
It sounds like an honest to god nightmare.
In honesty i feel its great for horror box because if youve worked retail, you already know how mean and evil people get

They seem to have (mostly) gotten better about it thanks to online ordering & pickup as well as stores having gotten a bit better about spacing deals out, at least in my experience working retail. Believe me, I was fully expecting to see the usual horrors happen come my first one, and yet somehow things went on like any other day for the most part.
Thankfully I don’t think any pet stores or anything do this, or this is the kind of horror stories we’d be hearing about and I fully expect people to wind up doing.

Easy enough to send police after the ones the security cams caught killing/damaging foals. Black Friday is not The Purge, breaking merch and failing to pay for it is still illegal. Next year they should put big signs up stating penalties/costs for that crazy shit.
