Anguish Part II (With art) [by TheHolyJagmar]

Cheep cheep” “Babbeh.” Lemon ran toward the sound coming from the bushes. She ducked into the bushes but got stuck. “Speshul fwen, help mummah, am stuckies.” Lemon screamed before stopping. She noticed a shape approaching her. “Nu fwen?”

“Speshul fwen, am babbeh in dere?” Patty asked his mate, poking her in the thigh with his marshmallow hooves. Then Lemon fell over. “Speshul fwen?” Patty stared in horror at Lemon, or what was left of her. “Whewe am thinkeh place? Huu huu.” “What am dummeh doin?” Smarty said, approaching the bush. “Huu huu. Bushy munstah nummed babbeh an speshul fwen.” “Stupi bush nummies. Show dem.” Two tuffies flanked him before following him to the bush. “Dummeh nummies, give babbeh an mummeh back nao ow wowstes huwties.”

The bush moved, revealing a monstrous visage. Bright burgundy eyes shone back at him, before the maw opened, revealing yellow teeth the size of pencil tips. “Munstah!” was the smarty’s last word before the beast clawed him over the face, leveling his skull into four separate pieces. A thunderous roar rang out, stunning the fluffies. The creature leaped from the bushes, disemboweling both tuffies and several more fluffies. Patty locked eyes with the creature, too afraid to move. The creature leaned it’s mighty head down, breathing it’s rancid breath in Patty’s eyes. Patty didn’t get to see the creature open its mouth. But he knew, he was now the nummies.

After finishing off the leader and the foragers, Anguish shot a fireball at the retreating fluffies, cutting off their route. “Oh nu, am twapped.” A purple fluffy exclaimed, hoping that would be enough to get them free. Anguish merely crushed him before using his fire to eviscerate the rest of the herd. The purple fluff carcass was skinned and used as a bludgeon to extinguish the fire. Anguish may be a monster, but he knows forest fires are worse than any dragon. Smoky would be proud.

I do like an environmentally responsible carnivorous fire-breathing dragon. :blue_heart:

In Japanese folklore Mizuchi, river dragon gods, wreck humans who desecrate or disrespect nature or even just fish/hunt/light campfires in their territory, and cull populations to prevent further damage (like Spirited Away, or the Red Gyarados from Pokemon).

So it works.
