Tbf we can give the ants credit to the size as this could be a Giant Forest Ants.
They are sizable even for ants. Workers averaging about 20-25mm (0.8-1 inch), the soldiers are bigger at about 28mm (1.1 inches) and the queens reaching up to 1.4 inches or more. Although they lack stingers, they focus on using powerful jaws for defense instead.

Well they are known to eat small vertebrates i.e. frogs or lizards so if they can eat those on top of other bugs (you seen how normal smaller ants eat bigger bugs like spiders or scorpions probably) so with bigger ants I’m sure they’ll mulch those micros up as Larva chow or something.
Also lets be honest the unicorn won’t make it out alive with those winding tunnels especially in a panic and when ants navigate via scent and when there’s 1 ant its most likely never alone.
Never seen micros that small, bro drawing fuckin subatomic fluffies at this point

I seen them carve out lizards so a foal its not hard to imagine…an adult fluffy might be akin to the scene in The Crystal Skull
