Foal with broken leg due to dancing mishap. Since this was drawn in 2014, this was when Carpdime was following the hivecanon of fluffies being very, very fragile, something he has moved on from.

Kind of hard to tell stories if they’re “too” fragile. Also its too inconsistent - sometimes they’re too fragile as seen here, other times they take way too much punishment and are still alive. Going with a consistent damage tolerance is better, I feel.
If your audience is pondering the durability of a fluffy while reading your fluffy story, you’ve failed to engage your audience with your fluffy story. That isn’t to say that everyone is entertained by the same kind of story but the point remains.
