Today the nice lady took you out and about while Daddeh got some sleep.
You don’t know her as well as you do Zoey, but she gives you snuggles and nummies so you still love her.
She smiles as she unbuckles your booster seat.
“ you did so well Odis! You didn’t vomit this time, looks like the putting you next to window worked wonders.”
As she picks you up a little too fast your tummy begins to hurt.
You chirp in distress.
Nice lady looks at you with motherly concern.
“What’s wrong sweetheart?”
You still haven’t gotten the hang of speaking yet but you managed to get out .
“(Whimper) (sniffle) Ba…Bah-tumtum! (Chirp)”
Nice lady holds you close and you rest your head on her shoulder.
“Shhh… shhh. It’s alright , I’m here.”
Nice lady gently strokes your back.
You suckle on your hoof as nice lady puts you in the shielded papoose before going into the store.
Through the riot helm visor you see the various people and fluffies as they stare back at you.
One of them a pretty woman you recognize , with an excited (peep) you call out to her .
“Goh-Goh!”
You flail your hooves with bliss as she waves back on approach.
“Hello my little puddin pie! so Jill how’s he doing today?”
Jill sighs.
“Oh, he was feeling a pinch queasy earlier but a back rub seems to have sorted it out.”
Joey looks at you with doting empathy .
“ I think someone needs a kiss on the noggin…. Just in case.”
Your face lights up as she plants a peck on your forehead. You begin babbling happily.
Joey transfers the papoose to her body.
“Oh I almost forgot, Jill I have good news ! My professor was highly intrigued by the data myself and the team submitted, Harper valley will have a dedicated research center and the cherry on top… my team has been selected for an on site internship!”
“Congratulations Joey! Oh I’m so happy for you ! I am however a little confused.”
“?”
“Well … I mean, I didn’t think a singular professor set something of this scale in motion without near unanimous approval from the upper echelons.”
Joey smiles.
“ Apparently it’s being pushed by Dr. Lilith Henderson , she’s been calling in favors left and right to make this happen.”
Jill’s face turns a ghostly white.
“Lilith Henderson…… as in…. Lilith Geiswell Henderson!?”
