@Hackerkyle I really really loved your take on this I haffe seen some discussions about a Fluffy or Multiple Fluffys killing a Baby. I’m pretty sure that a human child from 1 to 3 would be easy pray. And if Ferals in your universe start eating there own or other Fluffys ofspring in a direr situation than a human Baby would be a Bankett for a heard of Ferals. Before some one argues fluffys are to weak to hurt a human baby than they shouldn’t be able to hurt each other. Their are just limets in how weak you can make something bevor even a Apple would be to hard for a fluffys teeth and Ferals seem to eat way harder garbage. What I want to say is that I really love that some one did write a story about it thanks.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. In my cannon fluffies are commonly not that smart. The example of this story of the fluffy could’ve easily killed the baby just just laying on it but it’s too stupid and only can thing of ways that’d kill it. Smartys are capable of organizing fluffies to a degree but even still their hubris often gets the better of them. As I said a bit up from this post. Fluffies in my world have no souls. They only follow their programming to eat, love, and breed. And even their their idea of love is very surface and corporate way of love. Like they say they love their babies, but they’ll totally leave the baby to save their own lives. It is rare in my world for a fluffy to gain a soul through experiencing life and gaining a real consciousness. But again that’s rare.

Loved seeing the fluffy logic. Human baby has upset the status quo, so obviously removing the baby means things will go back to normal!! 
FWIW, I didn’t get hellgremlin vibes. This struck me just as the perfect combo of fluffy stupidity, jealousy, and lack of foresight. Perl couldn’t forsee the consequences of her actions. She’s too stupid to see that far in advance. And that’s the essence of fluffies
