Bad color foal (by:Tyndalo8825)

On that side, yes. But a depressed animal may not even attract the attention of a possible adopter. And if said person was looking for a black one, they might not buy anything at all, thus losing the sell.

It also may drop the morale of a litter, causing widespread depression and even wan-die loops in such young and impressionable minds.

Also a bad review from someone who rescues said foal (I would do so in a heartbeat, at least) can drop your ratings

Roach Queen had a comic about that.

I’m a sucker for natural colors but then I’ve never paid for a cat either. I think when money enters the equation things can change.

Sure, I might adopt this little one, but would I spend $x0 on it?

All the more reason to be a dick to all fluffies and see which ones break. Happy ones go to the sales floor, sad ones become litter pals, milkbags, or animal feed.

Don’t want a regular fluffy having a one off bad day and someone giving you a poor review for it. Better to ensure that the customers only see the stock that will ALWAYS be happy, even if the other foals are bullying it or won’t share toys with it.

Isn’t it less of a hassle at that point to be decent to your stock, only relegating the bad apples to said roles? That way, you have access to a wider stock. If they aren’t the ā€œtoughestā€ of the bunch, it doesn’t matter once you sold them. Nothing incredible, just… humanity? Besides, a temper tantrum is one thing, a depressed being is way different.

Also, a fluffy recanting tales of sad friends/brothers going forever sleepies might also make following purchases happen in a better place. A foal talking about how they were treated might also elicit extreme responses from more…extreme individuals (see dog trainer getting his house burned down because he was found out to abuse dogs into compliance). Whereas a fluffy mentioning a fair treatment might encourage getting a companion from the same place, maybe hoping to reunite a family or something.

Beyond that, it seems any fluffy related activity is ran by psychopaths, some sane people pl0x.

No. Simply because this is @Tyndalo8825 's headcanon. It’s a headcanon where (correct me if I’m wrong, Tyndalo) fluffies are near worthless, money is made on the sale of fluffy food, accessories, and toys, not the fluffies themselves.

Verbally abusing a poor colored, one-eyed foal that no one would buy anyway is no big deal. Make more money selling it as a litter pal or milkbag than selling it as a pet. And breaking it’s spirits isn’t gonna affect it’s worth as a litter pal.

Breaking a high markup fluffy toy because you’re mad that a foal has poor colors would be stupid. That’s worth something.

Oh ok, if the author has a particular headcanon then all makes sense.

I have no further objections you Coralinous honor.

Sorry for being so annoying. It’s just cross-box criticism irks me. It’d be like if I went into hugbox comics and started claiming that the happy feral family in the wooded glen is doomed die from predators, or the elements, or humans finding them.

It’s clearly marked as hugbox so my negative comments would be off topic at best and trollish or insulting at worst.

Again, sorry for being annoying about it, it’s just a pet peeve of mine. Had a lot of hugboxers on Reddit telling me I was wrong in nearly all my posts until the sub created a new rule. It got tiresome. But I hope we’re good. No hard feelings

I find if you have opinions that clash with the piece and creator’s usual style? Maybe just comment on the art or execution. It works well for me. Mind you: I’m a hug boxer that does take in abuse and other things. So I’ve commented on how well the creator pulls on my heart strings or how effective their story telling is, etc.

And the Roach Queen comic I talked about: A fluffy isn't worth anything until it knows it's worth nothing. -- RQ

There are some folks I will joke around with, but I think that’s due to mutual understanding and appreciation of work. I’m looking forward to @OtherCoraline ripping out my heart later on, for instance. Or @Bad_Roomie doing something that’s insanely cute while equally horrible. Maybe @RQ dragging me through some experience in hope I get to see tummy rubs. Or the emotional roller coaster that is @artist-kun.

What? No, of course not. You actually gave me a piece of information I couldn’t have alone, that’s useful stuff mah boi. It gives context to the artwork. It makes it enjoyable for me to know the basics behind an artist’s work. If he bases his work in a setting that had odds stacked against fluffies, there’s no point in going over morality issues, as the headcanon follows its own rules. As you might have guessed, I place a LOT of importance on a piece of work being coherent with itself. With such premises, it flows perfectly, and I can appreciate it.

No problems if you want to use that foal in a project you have in mind I like to see the fanart

@PhobicNova I also like black colors and their dark scales but in fluffyland they are hated XD

@OtherCoraline Thanks that means a lot to me, that something I do likes or even that it can be hated since that tells me that I can transmit emotions in others.

As for my headcannon indeed they are useless since being a mistake caused by the human being to generate profits to a transnaccional company (long live capitalismo lol), any profit that can be made from items for those Bio toys will be more important than the main product

Very interesting visual design. Black foals are supposed to be huge money, but you’ve distinctly picked an off-black color. Put that next to an actual jet black fluffy and your edgelord teen or fashionista wannabe is gonna despise the thought of going for the ā€œbudgetā€ option. So close, but yet so far, tiny fluffy.

Color discrimination as it should be - by humans for whom fluffies and their lives are just toys and trade goods.

I’d call it a ā€œWarm Grayā€. I’m not at work so I don’t have a Pantone book with me, but it’s definitely a warm gray. An Edgelord or fashionista would want a ā€œCool Grayā€, a cool black, or a rich black (highly saturated). Just black by itself is a bit weak, IMO.

Do fluffies not feel?

I dunno, the missing eye might add edgelord points and make up for it.

Wait hold up is that a Solid Black fluffy?!?! I take that over any other fluff any day! I love solid black animals if he had some white on him you could make him like a husky.
