Bestest Fluff-Mommy Ch. 1 & 2 (love2hatefluffs)

◇◇Ch. 1◇◇

This morning Jesse woke up with the same energy and verve as any twelve year old child of a depressed widower. So far, Summer has been a great break from school and all the drama that goes with it. On the other hand, this has meant more free time around his mother, Rita. Even more so, today was Mom’s birthday.

It wasn’t too hard to get past the stench of alcohol on her breath any moment she was conscious, but her ‘I don’t care’ attitude always left a lot to be desired. Nevertheless, Jesse wanted to give her a gift for her big day. He loved her and wanted her to be happy. After all, that’s his own mother.

“Good morning Mom!” Jesse exclaimed. “What’s so good about it?” Rita sharply retorted. They stood a couple feet apart in the kitchen. Jesse could already smell the boozy breath from his mother. “Well I know you don’t usually want to celebrate your birthday, but I was hoping I could give you a gift I think you’d really like.”

Rita had begun to respond to her son’s offer with her usual blunt rejection. Just as quickly she was greeted face to face with her new gift: a solid white fluffy alicorn foal. Her words were lost as the young fluffy cooed and chirped gently in her son’s hands.

“Jesse, how did you get this?” Rita asked in a surprisingly cheer tone.

“I’ve been saving my lunch money since last year to get you a gift. I know you said your favorite gift that dad gave you before I was born was Duke”. Jesse pointed to the decorative urn that held the ashes of his mother’s first fluffy, a stark white earthie stallion with a deep ebony mane.

Rita’s eyes welled with tears at the memory of her lost husband and her first ‘baby’. After an internal argument with herself, Rita accepted her son’s gift. There were no warm thanks, hugs, or anything else Jesse had hoped for with this event, but this was still a victory in his eyes.

They admired their new family addition for the rest of the evening. The foal fit snuggly in their hands and giggled at the ‘uppies’ Rita and Jessie gave it. After some examination, the foal was confirmed to be a female. Her silver tail compliments her plush white fluff and promises a beautiful mane for the mare-to-be.

“You’re so beautiful! I think I know exactly what to name you.” Rita softly spoke as she held the fluffy and looked into her eyes. The small white foal’s eyes were big at the announcement of her new forever name. “You’ll be my little Dutchess.”

“Duhshesh am pwettiest namesies!” peeped the tiny alicorn filly. She could hardly contain her excitment as she began tapping her hooves in Rita’s palms and flapping her useless little wings. “Duhshesh wub biggest housie an’ bestest nyu mummah an daddeh!”

Rita tersely interjected Dutchess’s statement. “Actually, Jesse isn’t your daddy. Jesse is my son, or your brother.”

The fluffy cocked her head in confusion at this new word. “What am son? Dat wike bestest babbeh?”

Rita giggled at that thought. “No, if there’s a bestest baby, that would have to be you I think.”

Dutchess’s eyes lit up bright and wide. She never could have dreamed of being a bestest babbeh with her birth mummah. “Duhshesh am bestest babbeh!? Su many heawt happies! Wub 'ou su much mummah!”

Rita let out genuine, joyous laughter at Dutchess’s reaction. She embraced her little white fluffy by holding it close and nuzzling her face. “I love you, my sweet Dutchess.”

“Duhshesh wub 'ou mummah!” She cooed sweetly. A glimpse of her new brother Jesse caught her attention during the embrace with her new mummah. It was hard to tell through Dutchess’s puffy cheeks, but he was almost certain he saw her smirk.

◇◇Ch. 2◇◇

August comes around and it’s time for back-to-school shopping. The past two weeks have proven successful in lifting his mother’s spirits. She’s at least able to remain sober enough to drive Jesse to the local mall, which definitely beats walking in the Summer heat. Though, in the back seat of his mother’s car, it didn’t beat walking by much.

“Duhshesh wike da vwoomy munstah’s cowd aiw!” his fluffy ‘sister’ said in her natural attention-seeking fashion. Rita reached over from the driver seat and gently patted her front seat passenger. “It am wowstes wawmsies outside wite nao.”

Rita chuckled. “It definitely is a scorcher today. But mummah will keep her baby cool.” Jesse shot a glance at her through the rear-view, but it went unnoticed.

The mall parking lot didn’t offer any reprieve either. Big shiny cars packed tightly in a big asphalt lot practically felt like an oven. Jesse unstuck himself from the leather backseat and exited the vehicle. Per his mother’s request, he opened the passenger door for Dutchess. She gently lept from the seat, fluttering her definitely functional wings to slow her descent.

Surprisingly enough, all four hooves hit the ground and give no way; a genuine landing. Immediately following her graceful display, a distinct sizzle is heard from her hoofsies. “SCREEEEEEEEEEE!” yelped the filly as she frantically tried to fly away and get away from the hot ground. “Wowstest buwnie huwties!”

Jesse hesitated for a split second, frozen in shock. “GET HER!” yelled his mother in a frantic, frustrated tone. Jesse quickly picked up the fluffy and held her to his chest, placing one hand under her haunches to support her. Then he smelled it.

Burnt hooves, hot asphalt, and shit. Her ass was completely covered in liquid shit, characteristic of her kind. Jesse’s hand and shirt were wet with Dutchess’s scaredy-poopies.

Rita pulled her son’s ear and guided them inside, lecturing him the whole way about how bad he was for letting Dutchess get hurt. Dutchess bawled the whole way until Rita took her by the scruff and entered a restroom to clean her. Jesse found his way into the men’s room to clean himself up as much as possible. In the mirror, he could clearly see the upside-down heart-shaped print of Dutchess’s shitty ass. He didn’t have much of a choice, so he removed his shirt and washed it in the sink, then used a hand dryer to the best of his ability to have a slightly-dry shirt to wear.

Once he exited the bathroom, he could see his mother carrying Dutchess, already walking through the mall towards her destination. Jesse jogged his way up to his mother to follow her, expecting the goal to be standard back-to-school shopping for notebooks, pencils and the like. Instead they headed into the mall’s Fluff-Mart.

Rita immediately purchased some padded shoes for Dutchess and placed them on her hooves before setting her down to walk around while Rita continued browsing. Jesse didn’t really care for Fluff-Marts, especially not for fluffy accessories. Anything to make mom happy though.

Dutchess pranced around in the store in her new shoes, feeling especially pretty. “Teeheeheehee! Duhshesh am pwettiest fwuffy ebah!” She held her head up high and posed in front of the fluffy display shelves. The bottom-rack poopie fluffies tapped on the windows in fits of rage, telling how Dutchess how much they hate the dummie munstah. Dutchess kept on posing smugly, seemingly getting a kick at how upset the others were.

30 minutes of sitting through this and ignoring all the slobbering, tapping, and peeping of fluffies begging for a home while he waited for his mom to finish shopping felt like hours for Jesse. Finally she checked out with a large bag of toys and accessories, then called for Dutchess and Jesse to come along. Dutchess made sure to tell all the fluffies about her going back to her ‘wawm housie’ to eat ‘wots and wots of sketties’. Jesse could see the anger of the poopie fluffies fade quickly into sadness as they exited the store.

“Can we go get school supplies now?” Jesse asked his mother. “Dutchess and I are going to get lunch, but here’s $20” she responded. Jesse shrugged it off and spent 15 minutes to get some basics from the office supply store in the mall. Once he finished, he made his way to the food court. Rita wiped some curry sauce from the side of her mouth and crumpled up a napkin as Jesse approached. Dutchess’s face was stained red from the spaghetti Rita bought her.

“Okay, great! Time to go!” Rita said as she got out of her chair and trashed the empty containers from lunch. Jesse had expected some kind of lunch to be waiting for him, but he choked down his disappointment and started making his way to exit the mall with his mother and head home.

First 2 chapters of my first story. I started writing this one to break up the monotony of comedic art, so I hope you enjoy! Feedback is always appreciated.

Is the spelling ‘dutchess’ intentional?

There’s been a couple stories where the mother favours the fluffy over her actual child; some end well, some not so well. This is starting to head into the ‘not so well’ category, but hopefully Rita might come to her senses before Jesse ends up completely traumatised or in the care of the state via the CPS.

Dutchess was not intentional . I suppose autocorrect wasn’t correcting me because of Dutchess County NY, but I realize now that is a misspelling. (It will be intentional moving forward tho)

And yeah, we’ll just have see what Rita’s motherly skills will offer as this progresses, but your judgement seems sound so far :martinidrink:

I immediately love any story that showcases delusional Pegasus Fluffies thinking they can fly and suffering for it.

Oh my god the sizzle sent me, that was hilarious.

I hope to see Dutchess suffer to a greater degree and for much longer in the future  good work!
