Yes wolfs, mountain lions, Bobcats, or whatever predator animals are out there will stalk, hunt , and kill ranch animals, pets and small children if given a opportunity and opening so most ranch and farm owners carry a firearm around especially at night. And don’t worry brick is pretty tough he will be fine he is gonna be in very fine hands
