You are Duncan, and today is a huge milestone for Odis. After nearly 6 months of training you have gotten Odis to use the litter box. Now due to his stunted growth he can’t really control his bowels properly so he still needs to wear diapers when out in public. But he is recognizing and using the litter box at home. Sometimes he doesn’t quite make it to the box in time but the effort is being put forth. This helps cut the amount of diapers you need to buy down by almost half. Odis is walking a lot more as well and as a result his legs are getting stronger and his gate less wobbly. It’s strange seeing Odis using the litter box but strangely it makes you feel proud. He still speaks in mostly gibberish with the occasional “Gween” thrown in. But honestly this is more than enough to make it feel worthwhile. Odis still barely larger than a foal but he’s almost colt age. Odis trots back from the litter box and looks up at you with his big black eyes. Trying and failing to climb on the couch you pick him up and place him on your lap. Odis lays against your stomach and babbles gibberish until he slowly slips into dreamland.his brother atlas climbs up onto the couch and snuggles up next to him.
Odis is perfection. 
I’ll be honest, the title “Big Boy Odis” gave me high hopes for a hilarious story about a big-ass fluffy in overalls just going to town on some poor soul who wandered into the wrong neck of the woods. Lmao 
Odis is a handful in terms of his required care . But there’s something genuinely special about a creature that is too ignorant to want or desire more than what they are provided. A person who wants very little will often times be favored in life by those they interact with. Not always of course but generally speaking Gratitude takes you further than entitlement when dealing with the average person

Honestly would also be proud of this fella, one of the sensitive ones that doesn’t make me want to axe kick em the moment I see them, and cuddos to Duncan for training and taking proper care of it!
Yeah, Odis is a good boy. I like him, too. He’s like a really happy toddler.

The moment they learn that they have the ability to bark, you have to stay on them nearly every day about not doing it
