Little Butter Pecan eyed at his busy hooman owner as she sat on the phone with one of her co-workers, chatting about her mundane work drama. Butter sighed and looked down at his fluffy little hooves, his mind making him overwhelmingly sad that day as he marched back to his bwockies and toysies.
Butter hated being saddies, but it was all he’d felt ever since mommah took him to the scawy docta pwace and removed his wumps. It had been just a week ago since the operation at the fluff-vet, and he still never got over it. He didn’t feel like a big stwong fwuffy stawwion no moe. He felt like a dumb poopie mawe. In his eyes, he felt that what he had endured was punishment, and it was unfair. It was so, very unfair of mommah!
But he’d never know why she did what she did, would he?
“Cuddews,” he weeped at his little stuffy fwen. “Mommah haet me. Mommah nu wiek me no moe.”
I keep remembering a comment I’d seen on one of the pages describing Butter’s eventual depression arc due to getting fixed, and I honestly liked the idea. Butter is such a drama queen.
Little Butter hasn’t spent a singular day outside of captivity before in his little life. What do you guys think will happen to Butter Pecan and Cuddles now that he’s decided to run away from home?
Quick Edit: His playpen is on a table. Don’t ask why, but that’s why his playpen is so close to a window. His hooman is really dumb. This is totally not an art error on my part. I would never make errors ever forever, I swear!
I don’t like fluffies who run away for stupid reasons, but I feel a little bad for butter Here, Guys depressed and he assumes that his Mama doesn’t love him even though she did all that With good intentions
Felt like the owner should of at least talk to him more, but that’s just me
Butter is found by his mummah before he can run too far and they have a long talk about Butter’s self-worth and how mummah was wrong for not fully considering his feelings and the pair’s bond is strengthened as a result

I want Butterbutt here to run into a Mongola just so he can put his woes into perspective. It really can’t happen fast enough. @BFM101 could really slap with a Butter - Mongola crossover.
Butter goes through the usual kind of fluffy hell, getting mistreated by humans, abused by a smarty, starving, etc… but keeps powering through because he’s got his teddy friend Cuddles to keep him going.
Then one night, during a particularly strong rainstorm, Cuddles is pulled free from Butter’s mouth, washing him away on a stream of rainwater, vanishing from sight as Butter is truly left all alone in his misery.
