Reminded of one of those historical torture/execution methods where cage with rats in it would be placed on the belly of someone with hot coals on top so the rats dig through the wood bottom. Starve the rats and once they hit flesh will dig, eat, and burrow deeper.

Do it to a soon mummah and it would make for a hell of a mess and the mother will not die quickly at all but the baby’s will.
