Just something went really bad and cause a lot of death and natural disasters and survivors.
specifically it has to do with a lot of war, not human vs AI but rather the evolution of war, chito being shown to be much more intelligent then we first think, see that she drastically changed because of her trauma/guilt of what her invention (a small robot) leading to such attrocities.
