The corn thingy reminds me as a kid how my cousin joke me when I swallow a watermelon seed and it will grow inside me and burst out,my aunt scolded her son cause i was cryin none stop

Probably the thought of a stalk of corn growing up from the corpse simply because it ate a candy corn.
(which is hilarious, IMO)
Candy corn is generally more useful as slingshot ammo that as any sort confectionery.
