Canned 2 (EchoBro)

Mimi - 5 days old

You wake up in the middle of the night to your kid calling for you from their room.

When you went there, you quickly noticed a growing noise: Loud peeping and crying. Jeez, what happened to Mimi now…?

“I already fed her, changed her diaper, even warmed her up with her blanket, but nothing seems to stop her crying…”

She didn’t cry ever since the catheters from the can were taken out, what could be causing such a noisy mess now?

You took her by the scruff gently and petted her little head. Nothing.

You put your index near her mouth for her to suckle. Nothing.

You tickled her already big belly. Nothing.

Dang, what’s wrong with her?

You must solve it fast, you don’t want your neighbors to be complaining tomorrow.

Letting their young kid take care of a newborn filly by themselves is a creative way to ensure they’ll practice safe sex later in life I guess.

Probably removed the catheters badly and procured internal injuries.

Tell her to grow up and lock the fuck in

Smart decision is to take her to the vet because if you tried every normal thing, it’s time to get a professional help

She might need to be burped if its none of the above. Try to help her burp by gently tapping on her back with a finger

Now that you mention it, there is that bit that says big belly, so yeah, she might be gassy

Her horn is probably itchy, since it’s growing every day.

You should break the horn off, to be safe.

The wings too, now that I think about it. Probably super itchy. Better to be safe than sorry.

Maybe cuddle them?

I’d say it’s one of these four things

  1. Some infection causing it pain.
  2. Constipation or stomach pain
  3. It just wants it’s mama
  4. It’s an SBS foal.

At this point I just get rid of the diaper, leave him and his bottle full inside an icebox and let him shit and drink himself to sleep, by tomorrow I’d find a stray mare and give it to them after all sensitive babbehs are bestest babbehs for mares atleast

This kid is gonna kill the chirpy out of frustration or neglect. Bet.

Could she be teething? If burping her doesn’t help, try giving her something to gum on.

Also, holding her by the scruff of her neck probably isn’t helping.

Hit it until it stops.

I would suspect colic and take her to the vet.

Perhaps it’s the horn coming in early and try to find a surgeon to get the suppressed forehead skin removed.

I didn’t think about that actually, nice one

Depends on how dog/cat-like the fluffy is. Scruffing a kitten or puppy of this age is completely harmless.
