In my world/headcanon all Fluffies can become cannibals thanks to being a horrible melting pot of various genetics, from various animals, in irregular amounts. Their genetic build is stable enough to produce a fully developed Fluffy each time, but still “elastic” enough to allow altering. Thanks to it there are Fluffy subspecies such as aquafluffs, batfluffs, fluffaloos, micros, XXLs and seasonal-oriented variations.
Hasbio made them in a certain way, so they can “recycle” Fluffies - your Fluffy lost a leg? Don’t worry, we can give him a new one, with 100% guarantee that his body will accept the new limb! You buddy died a horrible death? Donate his salvageable remains so we can use them on other Fluffies! Native cells will take over within a week, altering the possible looks [not for internal organs] and replacing them with native ones. Example, give a blue Fluffy a yellow leg. Within 5 days the leg will begin to shed old fluff and grow new one. Hoof will grow new skin/sheath/capsule by slowly flaking off the old one. In total of 9-10 days you forget this Fluffy never had that leg.
Fluffies by consuming mostly other Fluffies’ flesh accustom their bodies to dominantly carnivorous diet. If you are what you eat, then this is a double Fluffy. The more they eat, the more their bodies change to adapt to this lifestyle. Fluffies were never meant to be eaten by other Fluffies in this manner - rather, the corpses were intended to be ground up to a nice slurry and put back on the market as kibbles [of course, kibbles wouldn’t be mostly the slurry, but enough to leave it still tasty]. By extension, Fluffies always literally ate themselves to a degree. Cannibals simply maximize that degree and it turns them - the teeth usually sharpen and chip due to biting on bones and cartilage, hooves grow thicker now fueled by the diet and stomping other Fluffies to death. The eye swirls are honestly just for aesthetics, a slapstick humor of Hasbio - ooooh they are crrrrazy Fluffy! Let’s give them swirly eyes, like mad characters in cartoons have! What, you thought Hasbio didn’t experiment with cannibalism in Fluffies? You seen the comment about slurry a bit earlier, yeah? xD
The only thing that somewhat “magically” changes are the eye swirls, which emerge slowly, taking on darker color of the iris. Teeth are gradually chipped and broken, giving them the pointy look. Hooves build up denser protection for now often used front and rear legs.
Can you make a cannibal back into a normal Fluffy? No, not entirely. It would be comparable to “can you make this aquafluff into a unicorn XXL”? You can most certainly attempt by severing limbs and stitching on new ones, but you cannot grow a standard to an XXL size, neither can you grow or transplant a horn. You can re-accustom a cannibal to eating more “normal” diet, but you will always need to feed them raw Fluffy meat along with that. For a “rehabilitated” cannibal to survive, Fluffy should eat a 50%-50% diet of flesh and regular food. They would also never drop their hunting behaviors (stalking, pouncing, chasing), even if they do it just to play [which may not be appreciated by other Fluffies].
As for the cannibal bebbeh - they would just grow up as a Fluffy with swirly eyes xD
