This picture had a number of tags, but its not known if it was meant to be interpretive, if certain people added tags to it (yes, anyone could edit tags back on the booru) or if it was on one particualr topic. Thus, this picture is pending verification from the artist Carpdime himself.
Going by one of the tags, this can be interpreted to be some feral foals have been caught and will soon be rehabilitated into domestics.
Yep, looks like a capture/reintegrate into society mission. Scary at first, but the fluffies should be happier in the long run.
There wasn’t a background to this piece. It was up to the viewer to decide, which is often how I like works to be interpreted anyway. My intention was just to exercise a concept of using rubber bands to restrain fluffies. I used to keep a list of ideas like that on a to do list that I’d work through. It helped me to keep focused and to consistently produce works on a schedule. I still have this list but I’m not as strict with scheduling these days.
I’m guessing they’re being used as bait. Or are about to be examples to a herd to teach them a lesson.
