I feel like I should be surprised, but then cannibals regardless of subspecies are still only just above the average fluffy on the food chain, and thus by default still below just about everything else in nature.
So I will settle on mildly entertained as I was with the cat and frog.

Me too… also if possible I’d keep a Kelpie Fluffy in a garden pond cuz they might make a nice outdoors pet that wouldn’t mind a mossy or murky habitat…and they’d come in handy in case of any garden-invading feral herds show up.

Cannibal fluffy hate aside, the frog’s cries do work in getting a would be predator to back off enough for it to escape.
