I have the feeling that:

  • She didn’t run away by choice
  • or her owner was a crappy owner

The black eye really tells why she left

would adopt her and her babies

Is that the new nest or she preparing to move them to a new nest? I mean the picture could be interpeted as she checking to see if the coast is clear before making a move.

Anyway she seem to have some sense in her, not sticking to one place for too long.

Initially I intended it to be the new nest, but I like the idea that she doesn’t stick to one place for too long

Poor girl :< hopefully she can find a good place for her and her babies

A whole story told without a word of dialogue.

This leads me to a theory that FluffyMart leaves boxes in alleys. For multiple reasons, such as capturing premium Fluffys, seeing if any foals are worthwhile, or using them as food.

Feel like she got the black eye out of the ex owner for getting pregnant. Absolutely amazing art, as always. Cheers

I’m down with the lore-accurate cardboard-box-in-an-alley instead of the usual perfectly sized non marked one (that I’m guilty of)

my best guess is that her owner or the babbeh-daddeh tried to kill her, so she fled

What did you mean by that? Are you talking about the kind of cardboard box one would find in an alley?

There’s a running joke about someone leaving perfectly fluffy sized nice cardboard boxes in alleys. It’s the go to when a feral needs a nest

You did a great job on her face.

Oh dear. Poor thing. She’s going to need some recovery time for that eye. Great work as always.

Poor gal, hope she and her kids survived the harsh urban jungle.
