There should be a little pencil icon right next to the heart icon below your image.
However you are new and you may not be able to be allowed to edit your post just yet.
This is not a bug, it’s a feature of the software to encourage you to keep posting.
Just keep posting and you wil be upgraded to member level soon enough.
But here are the trust levels and their explanantion
You are a basic user, so all you should have to do is click on the pencil icon.

Ah yes, found it.
Users with trust level 0 can´t edit their own posts after more than 24 hours.
That’s why the pencil icon was there when I posted and then suddenly disappeared.

Yes, and you are welcome.
It’s pretty easy when you figure it out, but that goes for everything.
Also to quote somebody highlight the text you want to quote.
A button wil appear click on that and there you go, quoted text.
