Hello everybody.
At this point, everyone must know that our tag list is a bit of a mess. Obscure tags that no one uses, tags that denote the same exact thing and certain tags that depend on personal perception so much, they cause arguments on where to use them.
That’s why, during the initial one-week break, our team worked on shortening the list. We took the following directions: delete the unused tags, merge similar tags or rename certain tags. The latter was done for two purposes: to make them more usable and to make fluffspeak tags easier to understand for newer users. The most asked question on the subreddit is actually “What’s an enfie-babbeh?”. As you can guess, it’s a rather awkward conversation to have with a newcomer to the fandom. That’s why we decided on renaming most of the tags to plain English.
We understand that the changes will be uncomfortable for a while and will take time getting used to. You may find that some of your posts will have tags which you may find not as fitting. That we apologize for.
