I, for one, am very happy for this ruling. There’s definitely a couple stories I felt like were “regular stories, but with fluffies”, and as well written as they were, that’s just not why I like fluffies. At that point, I might as well read a regular book.

I love seeing how these biotoys interact with a harsh and cruel world.
I love the fact that not all of them survive the interaction.
These facts make the world they’re in seem more Real.
I am more capable of suspending my disbelief in these cases.

Anthros have always been contentious as long as they’ve been a part of the fandom, but I doubt they’re going anywhere. That said there is a line to walk between anthro-fluff and furry, and a lot of folks don’t seem to realize it
