A chirpy is dropped off at a shelter and then checked over by the vet tech and intern on staff. A hugbox owner dropped it off because its bitch mother decided that this baby was “bestest” and neglected the other two. Normally shelters aren’t equipped to care for a newborn by itself, but lucky for the chirpy Rusty can foster it until it’s adoptable. The vets are smartasses, but they’re good at their job.
Technically it-s probably too young for a vaccine so we’ll just called it liquid nutrients because I thought a chirpy with a giant band aid on its ass would be entertaining.
idk I like drawing chirpies with the remnants of their umbilical cord as a belly button. It will fall off later.
