Christmas Fluffies: Angel [by Maple]

Requested by @STSY.MEY for my Christmas Fluffies. I hope the change from star to angel is alright, and thank you for your patience!

You are Angel, a pastel yellow pegasus with a white belly and a golden mane. For the past three days you have lived in the most beautiful place ever! You have a pen in the middle of the prettiest room you could dream of, where sparkly lights wrapped around every banister and mantle and reflected off all the polished wood in the room. The red carpet was thick and soft, absolutely wonderful to run your white-socked hooves through. The couch was piled with fluffy blankets and pillows, and there was always quiet music playing from somewhere nearby.

The best part though? The tree.

In the middle of your pen was a giant spiky tree wrapped in even more strings of lights and accented with beautiful sparkly ornaments that made your heart so happy any time you looked at them! Your new daddy had given you some toys to play with but you spent most of your time looking at the pretty tree.

“Oh Angel! I have something special for you!” You heard Daddy’s sing-song voice from the other room and gave the tree one last blissful look before running to the gate of your pen.

“Angew miss yu daddeh!!” You chirped, reaching through the bars of the pen as if to hug him.

“Aww, I missed you too!” He set a plastic bag down next to you before picking you up. “It’s almost time for christmas, do you know what that means?”

You shook your head.

“We need to put the angel on the tree!”

It took a second for everything to sink in. “Angew… gu on twee??”

“Yep!” He set you on the coffee table and started rooting through the bag he brought. “I got the prettiest fluffy to go on top of my tree!”

“Angew su ‘cited! Wub twee!!” You pranced around the table happily until your felt your daddy’s hand wrap around you again.

“Now hold on, we need to get your ready. This might hurt a little, but we need to get all the poop out of you so you don’t make the tree dirty!”

You nodded as he held you over an empty bag. He pressed his fingers into your belly really hard, tears welled in your eyes but you bit your lip to avoid whining as poopies spewed out your hind end.

“There we go, empty!” The pressure released as your daddy wiped your rump and tail with a wet cloth. “Now let’s get you all pretty!”

He set you down in a large cardboard box and picked up a silver rattley can. “Buh fwuffy mummah say Angew am pwe-”

*Pshhhhhhhht!”

“SCREEEEEEE! SEE PWACE HUWTIES!!” you screeched, squishing your eyes closed as you backed away from the pain. Your butt hit the back wall as the spray began again, filling your nostrils with a burning cloud that scorched a path to your lungs.

“SABE ANGEW DADDEH!!” You sprinted forward blindly, hoping you would feel his arms catch you and protect you from whatever monster was covering you in this burning gas. Instead you bonked your head against the cardboard wall of the box and tumbled backwards, landing on your back and twisting one of your wings painfully under you.

After what felt like forever the Pshhht! Pshhht! Pshhht! of the spray stopped, leaving you sobbing on your back, hooves over your eyes.

You felt Daddeh gently roll you onto your belly. His touch was comforting even through the pain of your eyes, chest, and wing. You slowly cracked your swollen eyes open to see the vague blurry form of a human.

“Dadd-eh sab’ An-gew…” you managed to croak.

The form didn’t reply.

Pain shot through your back as he lifted your damaged wing. You tried to scream but a raspy gasp was all you could manage. There was a loud click, then another accompanied by pain in your other wing. You tried to flap them both free of whatever was causing them pain but received a flick to the nose for your trouble.

“Don’t ruin all my work, Angel!” Daddeh said.

You didn’t know what he meant. You tried to get your hooves under you but his firm hand pressed you back down, hooves splayed out around you. You blinked some of the haze from your eyes just in time to see the first wire to enter your leg.

“Nu…! Huwties!!” You tried to pull away but Daddeh held you down firmly as he fed the wire under your skin. It felt horrible, pain and pressure slithering its way all the way down to your hoof. You didn’t even have time to come to terms with it before you felt the same pain in your other shoulder.

“Daddeh… Angew… huwties!” You gasped.

“I’ll fix that as soon as I’m done.” He continued pressing the wire into you.

You were lifted up by your scruff and sat up in the box, hooves extended out to either side as if to give a hug. You tried to lower them but the wire felt like it would rip right through you, a strange pain under your skin. You could see sparkles in your fluff, a layer of fine glitter that was beautiful but was hard to appreciate with how horrible you felt. Your wings had small bits of metal wire in them that pinned them to a second pair of big, white wings. You didn’t know why daddeh wanted you to have more wings. Maybe that’s what he meant when he said he’d make you pretty?

“Alright, open up, Angel.”

Daddeh gently gripped your chin and turned your head towards him and you opened your mouth to receive the promised relief. Rather than a tablet or treat a smooth metal rod slid into your mouth much like the one on your water bottle. You instinctively tried to suck on it but nothing came out of the end. Your confusion lasted only a moment before Daddeh pressed a button on the side of the tool.

With a loud buzz your throat exploded into pain, a burning far worse than the spray. You tried to pull away from it but Daddeh kept a firm grip on your chin as he pulled the tool back and forth, scorching your mouth from the tip of your tongue to the back of your throat. Your eyes locked on to his, pleading for mercy. Whatever you had done wrong you would apologize. You would never do it again. You would never do anything again if he would just stop the pain.

The tool was pulled from your mouth sending the scent of burning flesh into the air. You tried to scream but a hissing puff of air was all that escaped you.

“Perfect.” Daddeh said, smiling down at you.

He let you fall backwards into the box, silently gasping in pain as you stared at the ceiling. What about this was perfect? You couldn’t speak, could barely move, and though the sparkly spray had made your fluff glittery it was stiff and itchy and you had no way to scratch.

Another voice came from across the house. “Tommy? You home?”

“Hey!” Daddeh called back. “You’re just in time, I’m almost done with the angel.”

Another face leaned over the box, smiling down at you. He looked a lot like your daddeh.

“Oh, she’s good.”

Good? You tried to ask what about this was good but all that escaped you was a wheeze.

“You want to do the smile?” Daddeh asked.

“Sure!” The man replied.

He disappeared for a moment, then returned with a needle in his hand. You tried to get up but your stiff legs wouldn’t behave, having no voice to ask them to listen to you. The man grabbed your head and you watched, as the needle lowered until it pierced your cheek, a clear thread drawing the corners of your mouth up as the needle reemerged next to your eye. He tied a quick knot before starting on the other side, ignoring your tears and raspy gasps.

“There. Whad’ya think?” The man leaned back after tying off the last knot.

Daddeh leaned back over. “I think it’s lopsided.”

The other man gave him a playful shove. “Gimme a break!!”

“Grab her, let’s get her up before the kids get here.”

You were lifted out of the box and carried towards the pretty tree. You could see from this angle that the very tip of the tree had been stripped of its needles and carved to a rough point.

“You can do the honors.” Daddeh said, gesturing to the tree.

“No way man, I’m not falling for that!” The man replied, gesturing with you in his hand and jostling your stiffened limbs painfully.

“Fall for what?!”

You were roughly tossed by the man into your Daddeh’s hands. “You didn’t empty her, did you?! You want me to put her up there so I’ll get covered in shit!”

Daddeh righted you, readjusting your extended wing. “You’re an idiot. I don’t want her shitting on my tree either.”

You were lifted up to the top of the tree. With your hooves forcibly extended you got ready to give the tree the best hug you could but to your confusion Daddeh lifted you above the tree entirely. Your confusion didn’t last long, though, as the tip of the spike brushed past your poopy place sending a cold chill through your body. You frantically shook your head, wheezing out pleas not to be impaled. Your daddeh was a good human! He gave you pets and love and sketties! He told you what a pretty fluffy you were and cuddled you! He greeted you every morning with his kind smile!

And now he was lowering you onto a rough stake with that same gentle smile.

You kicked your hooves but it didn’t stop the inevitable. You silently screamed as the wooden pike invaded your body. The pointed end pierced your bowels, you could feel bits of yourself catching on the rough edges and ripping away. Your eyes rolled back in your head as daddeh released you. You felt yourself slide down the spike until a small branch rested against one of your hind legs, your vision going fuzzy as unconsciousness reached out for you.

You were barely able to feel the nutrigel block shoved into your mouth, only the slight twinge of pain from your artificially smiling cheeks broke through the horrible pressure of your abdomen. Your front hooves were no help with their stiff wires and no matter how hard you tried to flap your wings to fly away they wouldn’t move. At least the soft wet block soothed your burnt flesh slightly as it slid down your throat.

“Oh yeah, that looks good!” The human voices were muffled by the ringing in your ears.

“How long you think this one will last?”

“Well, we kept last year’s angel going until the 30th, so I’m shooting for New Years.”

Brilliant. And after all that, Angel still tried to be a good fluffy and hug the tree. Love it
