the best option is a poopie nurse who will eat the poopies at night so the mother of the foals can rest.

It wasn’t the changing for us but that there were so many and no matter what there was some sort of smell leaking from the “smell-proof” diaper can.
If fluffies were real I would have invested every penny we spent on diapers into something like @Carniviousduck proposed with the edible diapers. Would have been enough to make litterpals out of at least two whole litters of foals and use them to clean up all sorts of organic wastes.
