I agree. Dropping, especially. Foals have no way to cling to their mom’s fur, so they are at the mercy of a steady gait, I’d think. And if she forgets and sits down, plop they go.

Very interesting, the provoked infanticide is very common in the stories, but the accidental is little explored, I imagine fluffies so clumsy that they end up killing litters and litters of their own offspring for being very imperactive and careless.

What do you mean? Babbehs and foals get accidentally stomped on or abandoned all the time when their mothers are fleeing things, be it angry humans in a yard invasion, abusers or other fluffies.

It’s more when they’re just doing regular fluffy things. You don’t get to see a lot of parental fluffy incompetence when they’re not in danger or purposefully murdering their kids for one reason or another.
