An animated movie from my country (known in the US as Cat City) has the main villain a cat gangster/CEO finding out his assistant wasted 2 million on a remote controlled robot mouse despite the fact their labmice would have done that for peanuts and punishes him with his metallic clawed hand. (which is a running gag throught the whole movie)
