Really the best solution is just to kill both outright. One round of .223 or maybe even .17 WSM from the right angle would blow a fatal hole through both fluffies with an hilarious explosion of blood and guts. Flying the drone that delivers the round, while absolutely necessary to preserve the environment, would be a fun-filled morale booster for any military.
