By the way, I’ve said it before but thanks for all the comments that have been left on my posts. I don’t want to clog up the replies with endless variations of ‘Hey thanks, appreciate it’, but I do read and appreciate all of them.
I love how your replies on one of your first posts is something like “I’m not good” or “I’m not really an artist” when you have such a grasp of drawing and arrangement that other people don’t.
i couldnt tell what was going on in the foreground at first, but it turns out my phone brightness was too low. i didn’t even realize the blood was red at first. now it’s like a whole new world of detail opened up, you’ve even got the blood seeping into the rainwater collecting between the cobblestones
I love the lighting effects and the perspective shot of the picture. The only possible criticism I might have (and it’s probably what you were aiming for in the first place) is that the fluffy is an unrecognisable mess of body parts.
I think it would be more horrific if there were recognisable elements, like an eye or tail, something to give it an orientation of what it is and where it should be, rather than trying to figure it out like a Picasso painting and the mental puzzle of that distancing you from the horror.
nah it’s a fair critique. The fluffy was the hardest part for me, I was having difficulty emphasising features clearly in just greyscale - I probably should have just bit the bullet and used some clear line art for that bit
Love the style, colours, arrangement etc. I do struggle with visual comprehension, so bear that in mind, but I really couldn’t work out what I was seeing in the foreground even with brightness turned up. I see protruding bone so I can guess, lol; just couldn’t figure out the shapes.
