Seeing this had me thinking ‘wheres the poopie hole?’.
Then I thought ‘Huh~ why dont they just poop on the surface so the cross contamination to what they eat is minimal and there’s more food gel in general?’
This then had me picturing the owner not replacing the gel and an extensive series of tunnels etc and a mass of poop on the surface developing. To the point that one day the weight of the poop from a micro going to the bathroom onto the pile causes the whole surface tunnel to collapse and then collapse through the various snacking under tunnels crushing all the other fluffies.
