Dancin' (toofedup)

I had just finished the “cute foal tricks” section of the beginner’s fluffy training manual I had bought the previous day and decided to train Potato to dance. unfortunately, I used small amounts of spaghetti to train her instead of kibble. oops. I’ll need to have a conversation with her about following me around dancing, and about being a good fluffy long term.

Oh my, you will definitely need to sit her down and explain things. Eating too much sketties will lead to terrible obesity, and since Fluffies have nearly no immune system, she can develop any food-related diseases like diabetes or food allergies. :frowning:

If she’s persistent, try showing her (perhaps not the morbid kind) videos of obese Fluffies who can’t walk or breathe normally due to their weight; or videos of Fluffies who worn out their legs’ joints from dancing for too long on a daily basis and now they can’t use their back leggies without them hurting a lot. She needs to see and understand it’s for her well-being and not to be “meanie mummah”.

It seems that little Potato has a loooot to learn. Was she raised without her Fluffy mother mare? I’m concerned why Potato wasn’t taught anything earlier in her life by her Mummah.

i bought her when she was a talkie baby, and that raises questions about the situation behind the scenes at the fluffmart i got her from.

A point of order - if fluffies had nearly no immune system, then diabetes is less likely (Type 1 is typically an autoimmune response and Type II is independent of the immune system) and food allergies are impossible (they’re an immune system over-response to a food).

On a separate note, fluffies being immunodeficient doesn’t make sense as the original design spec was for them to be children’s toys and children are the germiest little plague bearers around - a simple cold from a human would cause respiratory failure in the fluffy.

Oh snap, true this! I will need to rework myself with the Fluffy immunity; I would say that while common and simple illnesses are amendable, the things which are more serious - the trouble begins. Lest we forget Hasbio is a soulless corporate entity and they 100% would design Fluffies to expire rather easily & quickly to ensure a purchase of another pet.

I wouldn’t put it past a big pharma style company to not engineer an immune system that could handle anything more serious than a minor cold, in order to drive repurchases.

Looking after a grumpy whiny ill child is bad enough, now imagine two of them, but one is a fluffy.
