I think he’s half right. If I could hazard a guess, mummah was protecting him and a red sibling from either a bird or possibly a cat while Daddeh was out nummy finding. I lean towards bird because that may have led Mummah to have been dropped from height, derping her like that. She was able to save Purple and the other Orange ones, but couldn’t save Red. She’s still in there, but she’s broken. Can’t make new memories and has no way to fend for herself or even move properly. But she still has her mothering instinct there, especially for her (gone) Red babbeh. I hope one day Purple is able to understand just how much his Dummeh Mummah loves him and his bruddas and sissy, and the sacrifice she made before she became a shell of herself.
