Yeah the story’s abuse is so fucked up. Most abuse is just sadism for the sake of pleasure. Dey’s abuse are nothing but a cruel juxtaposition to really make you go “wow, you’re a spoiled brat and YOU think you have it unfair?”

That was the target for readers of the story, showing how delusional and spoiled Dey was compared to the other poor feral fluffies suffering outside his safe room.

Wow, I’m pretty used to some gory abuse around here and I even appreciate parts of it as a hugboxer, because for good things to have meaning you also need some bad things to be possible. But this is easily one of the most upsetting comic pages I’ve seen in a while. EspecialIy since your style (which is one of my favorites ever) usually doesn’t show gore and injuries in too much detail. I really want to throw some battery acid in that abuser’s face.
