Imagine being brown and comming up to a mummah with good colored babbehs and expecting affection, poopies really are a blight 
I like the detail that the filmcrew used a poopie to save on production costs
Running away seems so fun till you get trampled
That sudden look of both shock, confusion, and fear.
He’d been so babied by daddah, that he never experienced the anti-poopie hate of the outside world. He literally never knew his fur color was an issue, and did not foresee the mummah reacting this way.

I just came back across this again, and a new thought came to mind.
This is a TV program warning against Fluffy’s running away. So now I imagine that the little foal was just an actor. He’s sooooo proud and adorable in the second panel because he’s a good actor doing a good job for his daddah (the director) 
And panel 3 is his very real, not scripted reaction to suddenly being screamed at before being beaten and eaten for real. FluffyTV doesn’t actually care about their fluffies, so it would be in character for them to train a baby to rehearse his lines and do a good job, only to let the baby actually get brutally stomped and eaten.
And panel 4 is him crying for his dad (the director) to save him.
