Dr. Jacks Fluffy Adventures - The First Of Many - Chapter 5 - By LenexTLI

This chapter is a bit more brutal than the previous ones! So warning to all the Hugboxers and and “Have fun!” to all the abusers and smarty haters out there!

Also, if anyone is confused about the medical terms used (such as certain muscle names and chemical/hormone names.), tell me, and I’ll start explaining it better, so people who don’t know biology or chemistry will understand what is happening too.

As Jack opened the basement door, he could hear soft crying from down below. As he turned the lights on and walked down, the cries got louder. After putting on his coat, he looked inside the smarty cage where the cries were coming from. There he saw the smarty, curled into a ball and crying to himself.

“What’s wrong?” Jack asked, annoyed at the constant whining.

“Huuhuuu, Smawtie hab biggesh huwties, daddeh!” The smarty cried, getting into the huggy position. Jack opened the cage and picked the smarty up, carrying him to the inspection table. Jack placed him on the table and turned the headlamp on, checking the smarties skin, and as expected, it had started to tear.

Jack was able to see the skin showing signs of tearing on some spots, knowing that this was because of the growth hormone. Jack also noted that the smarty had grown again, having gotten even bulkier and more muscular. Jack went over to his desk, leaving the crying smarty behind. He was getting fed up with the smarty and needed space for the herd, so Jack picked up his recorder.

“Date: December 10th, 2021. Experiment ID: D-013. Present Researcher: Dr. Jack Harries. Experiment D-013 has started signs of skin trauma along the left side of his shoulder blade, chest, and right thigh. D-013’s calf bone, neck bone, ribs, and calf bone have shown immense growth in the last two days of feeding the subject the growth hormone. It also seems like D-013’s deltoid muscle has started ripping, as well as his vastus lateralis and serratus anterior. Although results are showing quickly, the experiment is taking too long. I’m going to give D-013 another dosage of the growth hormone, as well as a chemical I created, which will lead to the creation of an adenoma which should accelerate the growth exceptionally.” Jack spoke into his recorder, placing it back on the table and retrieving a vial from a special case.

Jack looked at the yellowish liquid inside the tube, opening it and sucking a bit into a syringe. Once the syringe was full and no air was inside, he walked back over to the crying smarty.

“Huuhuuu, Smawtie hab biggesh huwties!” The smarty cried.

The smarties crying was suddenly interrupted by a pulling pain in his thigh. The smarty quickly spun around, shitting himself by the sudden pain.

“Huu, wae daddeh gib Smawtie huwties?” The dumb smarty asked, confused and with tears in his eyes. Jack ignored his question and pulled a chair next to the table and sat there, watching.

Out of his pocket, Jack pulled a timer and pressed it, now looking back at the smarty, waiting for the effects he was expecting, and he didn’t have to wait long.

“SCREEEE, Smawty hab biggest-huwties!” The smarty screamed abruptly.

Jack watched as the smarty’s skin seemed to move, the muscles underneath shifting under its skin. The smarty screamed in agony as some parts of its skin started to rip, fresh blood flowing down from the tears, the blood mixing with its red fur. The smarty was twisting and crying in the extreme pain of its muscles and bones suddenly ripping through its skin. The skin on its leg was next, bulging outwards and a rip slowly forming from the top all the way to the bottom of its leg, a bone pushing its way through the soft skin, the white of the bone being stained red as it appeared.

“SCREEEEEEEEEEE!” The smarty screamed, its eyes flicking in all directions when they suddenly locked on Jack.

“DADDEH, PWEASE HEWP SMAWTY! SMAWTY HAB SU MUF HUWTIES!” It begged Jack with tears streaming down its face, still believing he to care for the smarty.

But Jack didn’t move, simply watching what was unfolding in front of him, expressionless. The smarty didn’t understand what was happening to him, only understanding that he was in an agonizing amount of pain and that it was only going to get worse from here on.

The smarty didn’t have enough time to question more thought as another tear formed on its back this time. The smarty curled into a ball, hoping to lessen the pain by hiding, but it didn’t help, but rather only increased the pain as the curling up helped push its spine closer against its skin, pushing it out. In a truly disgusting and disturbing way, the spine shot out of its back, leaving behind a huge gap in its back, tearing more downwards. The smarty suddenly shot up from the sudden extreme pain in its back, resulting in his chest forming the next gap, one of his ribs piercing through his chest.

At this point, the smarty looked horrible. Having multiple bones pointing outwards through its skin and many parts of its skin almost having fallen off to the side from the sudden rupture, the growth would not stop anytime soon, though. But Jack was concerned, as at this point, the smarty was lying in a big puddle of its own blood, hoping the adrenalin would keep it alive longer before it died from shock or blood loss.

The smarty, having so much adrenalin in its tiny body that it numbed most of the pain from its still tearing skin, tried reaching for Jack, still believing that he could, or even would, help him. As his little arm reached towards Jack, another rip formed along his arm, his elbow suddenly popping out, leaving the front of its arm dangling down. The fluffy screamed.

“NUUU, SMAWTIE NEE WEGGIE FO’ GUD FEEWS!” He screamed at the terrifying sight of his arms not being responsive, only being held back from falling by skin and tendons.

Suddenly, the smarty convulsed, foam forming in its mouth as it fell down and started shaking, its neck bending in an unnatural way as its neck grew sideways out of the flesh and skin, and as the bones finally protruded fully out of its body, a crack filled the air. Its neck snapped under the pressure of the accelerated growth and bending. The smart lied there, motionless, with blood dripping down its entire body.

Jack turned his recorder back on, looking at the deceased smarty.

“Subject D-013 has passed away due to sudden break of the C1 and C2 vertebra. The process of the neck bending and then breaking has most likely caused severe damage to the spinal cord and the nerves around it. Subject died quickly but experienced huge amounts of pain before death.” Jack spoke into the recorder, examining the rest of the body, “D-013 had also experienced the ripping and tearing of skin in multiple locations, and some of its bone having grown out of its body, which had caused the initial skin tears. Experiment shows that mixing the growth hormone with additional factors like an adenoma, which had resulted in the hormone being multiplied and even further accelerated, and a fluffies natural high metabolism. Experiment End.”

Jack placed the recorder down and stood up. After putting on gloves, Jack picked the corpse up and threw it in the nearby trash, wiping down the bloodied surface of the table and cleaning everything up. Jack was happy with the results, glancing back to the monitor at the sleeping herd. He was hoping that some, if not most, of the fluffies were assholes so he could take them down here and conduct more experiments like this. Jack yawned. He had enough for today, making his way back upstairs and going to bed.

As the morning sun arose, Sparks was still cuddling into the fur of his mate, Flower. She was the best mare in the entire herd and also the prettiest. Spark knew that their babies would be the best babies ever, as he was a Unicorn and she was a Pegasus, and he knew that one of his babies would be a strong and proud smarty just like him and would lead the herd with authority and pride. He wasn’t worried at all, being sure that this was going to happen, as he was the best and smartest smarty ever.

“SMAWTIE! SMAWTIE, HEWD HAB PWUBEM!” a fluffies voice suddenly broke his thoughts, making him look up. The shout woke all the other fluffies up as well, including Nova and Sunny.

The red earthie stallion, called Fire, stood next to the bush, having been the one who woke everyone up.

“Wa wong Fiwe, wae Fiwe waksie hwed?” Sparks asked, somewhat annoyed.

“Sowwy, Smawtie, bu howe nu dewe!” Fire continued, pointing behind the bush.

The herd looked at Fire, confused, Sparks standing up and walking towards the bush, looking at what Fire was pointing at. Fire had been pointing at the spot the hole they had come through into the garden had been, it not being there anymore. Sparks walked up to the spot confused, knocking with his hoof against the wooden plank. The herd was now wide awake, seeing that their entrance hole was gone.

Now, Sparks, Fire, and Brat were walking along the garden fence, checking if they maybe had forgotten where the hole was, and it was still there, but it wasn’t. Jack watched the confused fluffies over the cameras. He had woken up early to see their reaction. A human would instantly be able to see the mechanical door hatch on the fence, as it was a few shades darker, but to a fluffy, the brown-colored mechanical door would not be easily visible when closed, making it seem like there never had been a hole or gate to begin with.

Jack found the confused looks on the fluffy’s faces hilarious but was also concerned at the panicked expressions on the pregnant mares’ faces. Jack knew that stress was not good for the babies inside them and did not want to cause the panicked and stressed mares to go into labor too early and potentially lose their foals.

After a few minutes of the fluffies walking back and forth along the fence, they gave up, walking back to the herd in the garden.

“Wat hewd du, Smawtie?” Brat, the green toughie earthie stallion, asked.

“Nu wowwies, Smawtie find wae.” Sparks answered. There was no way he couldn’t find a way out. He was, after all, the bestest and smartest smarty in the world.

“Smawtie hab pwan?” Lola, the yellow Pegasus with white mane, asked.

“Nu yet, bu’ Smawtie hab tinkie-pwace wowk! Am bestesh Smawtie aba aww!” Sparks reassured his herd.

Nova just watched. He knew that Sparks was lying. He was just like all of them and had no idea how they would leave now. Sparks always talked about being ‘bestesh Smawtie,’ but he had little to show for that claim other than being a meanie.

The herd quickly went back to doing what they would normally do, eat, shit, and the pregnant mares talking to their ‘tummeh-babbehs’ and the mare with foals cuddling them.

Jack watched the entire thing, now being sure that Nova had a huge dislike for his smarty. He could just walk out and introduce himself as their new daddy, but he wanted to wait and see how they’d act once they started getting a bit more desperate. He wanted to have a clear profile of all of them, to evaluate what to do with them. He already had some vague ideas on what to do with them, especially the smarty. But for the time being, he was going to check on Marie and her foals.

Why did that happen? If stuff grows, shouldn’t everything except skin grow? Then why only bones seem affected and not muscles?

The muscles did grow, and at such a fast rate which was why the bones shifted inside the body, that resulted in the bones being pushed away and outwards, thus piercing through the skin. The skin itself did not grow but was rather torn apart due to that extreme growth of both muscle and bone, or at least that is what I was assuming were to happen if a creature with an extremely fast metabolism consumed a huge dosage of growth hormones. I could’ve gone in more details about other effects too and “Why” it happened exactly, so that is a mistake I made there.

I recognized several terms but english not being my first language I did have to look them up to make sure I knew exactly what parts were growing at an explosive rate. The whole thing made me think of a fluffy Hulk tranformation gone wrong though.

Jack’s got some interesting experiments going on and who knows, the results may be crucial to scentific research in the future even if most would just see them as horrific abuse sessions. I for one suspect he’s got a bright career ahead of him with scientific breakthroughs worthy of a nobel prize.

So it’s more like a jacked potato (spine connected to muscle but no skin) than a bow (spine fully separated from flesh)?

Another thing that I think may have happened here- our muscles (and I assume fluffy muscles) have considerably more pull force than we can usually access- this is why you get some scenarios of things like a mother (filled with adrenaline from panic) doing something like lifting a car temporarily to get to her hurt child beneath. When we’re coursing with cortisol (a stress hormone that’s also released during this) it also contributes to that adrenaline pulse. In fact, there’s been documented cases of people being able to break their own bones simply by lifting something too heavy for them.

My guess is that the force of the enhanced muscles plus the adrenaline rush plus writhing meant that the force exerted by the muscles pulled the bones from their usual resting places. Our bones sit pretty soundly where they need to be, but they’re mostly kept in place by countersystems of muscles pulling against each other. I imagine when the spine popped, it pulled the connective tissue from the ribs, and the interstitial muscles of the ribcage flexed as a result, popping the ribcage out.

Obligatory I Am Not A Doctor, just a huge nerd who likes biology.

Edit to add: sorry to Lenex of course if I’ve gotten it completely wrong. I’m very much enjoying these stories and I’m looking forward to the conclusion.

I mean there is no quote on quote “Correct answer” as we can all assume what happens to a fluffies body in situations like this, but I do really like your interpretation of what happened.

Easiest way to view it is just the bones were pushed outwards due to the growth of both the bones and muscles together, and because fluffy skin is not very durable or can sustain such amount of stress it ripped. The reason why the fluffy died so quickly was because it went into shock rather quickly from the loss of blood and pain.

Flagged (joke) for being too clever to be in the community

Wow. That’s a lot of good knowledge! Thank you!

I know there is no “correct” answer, but I like to imagine stories and how it looks 'n all

I wouldn’t wish how the smarty died on my worst enemy
