Do you lot prefer art or textposts? Been partial to textposts since the booru myself but im curious what the preferred method of fluffy torture consumption is.

Fair. I do the same on occasion. Mostly just during loading screens for games that take a bit.
Both, to read about it and imagine the suffering is a great way to exercise the minds ability to make pictures out of nothing and as for art it depends on I feel if you like the artists art style like shaferaraks if they were still around made really great sad pieces of art
I much prefer text, comics are also good.
However from what i’ve seen images get much more attention on the site, if you look at any of the top posts it’s all image based. Not complaining at all though, there are some really talented artists on here.

I like both, although a good picture probably tops a good story. If I had any kind of artistic talent, most of my stories would be in comic form.

Over ten years it’s been mostly art then about a year or two of text and then art again. I wish I still had the interest but I just generally don’t

Depends what I want. A compelling narrative is almost never possible through comics unless someone takes an assload of time working on it. Art is definitely better if I just want to see a retard getting kicked for making a bad poop

Slight preference for comics here. I don’t mind text-posts, but unfortunately they’re often either oddly formatted or just blocks of text. I don’t mind reading texts that are well laid out.
Art. Text posts have to catch my attention from title and tags alone - I won’t read the story if the title/tags don’t grab my attention, which they rarely do. But art shoves its entire content in your face via the thumbnail, so you can tell if it’s to your tastes even if the title is some shit like “eating poopi 24/7 livesteam”.

A few years ago I would read pretty much anything I could find, but lately I pretty much just look at the pictures and comics.
I tend to read more.

I tend to prefer art.
But when it comes to creating content, I can’t draw for anything, so I write a lot.
I just want @Ace to make me feel something and I’ll draw some messed up shit to get my fix.

It’s much easier to convey a good idea by an amateur drawing than it is by amateur writing, so visual art will always be more popular. That said, a good fluffy story hits in a way illustration can’t for me, so I’m always keeping an eye out.
