Yup usually did something bad or a really worst asshole and cursed to roam and make trouble.
Scariest in our side in asian horror lore if a person died or suicide and wearing red is the worst case scenario will turned into a wrath like entity or âangry ghostâ who have no memory of who, why or what its haunting off, it will blindly attack anyone with its bounded vicinity.

He has the right idea though as entities of the spectral variety have a tendency to not act unless their presence is acknowledged.
Living Smarties are bad enough to make ghost smarties something even worse and more difficult to deal with.
I can imagine a ghost of smarty that died of starvation and is forced to spend eternity trying to quench itâs hunger only to have any food it manages to get fall through itâs incorporeal body much to itâs annoyance.
