This series has been by far and away my favourite story series so far. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you, and please keep writing!

Ah… Okay, here we go. This might get a little long, so I apologize (I’m also a writer, so my posts might be a bit ā€œboringā€, plus English isn’t my native language - so hello, greetings from Brazil :D)

I recently joined the community, and since I don’t feel comfortable commenting on older posts and stories, I took the liberty of reading the entire story before saying anything else. I really love this series and its writing, and I feel like it helped me understand certain aspects that I’ll take with me (along with all of her other series). But I don’t think it’s fair for people to say that Ariella was wrong and that the Fluffys were ā€œrightā€ to laugh at her death. It’s clear that she tried not to go down that path in the first few chapters, and that much of the abuse-related ideas came from Zeri, simply because she just wanted to be close to her boss and didn’t care much about the Shit Rats. So no, it’s not Ariella’s fault, and even if it were, I don’t see how a non-profit shelter organization could continue to exist without any kind of funding or support without the system that Enterpott has adopted.

As someone who lives in a slightly ā€œtroubledā€ country, I can tell you that any other approach that attempted to maintain a healthy lifestyle for stray or abandoned animals while simultaneously dealing with aggressive individuals without any kind of financial or government support would fail. Few resources, high demand. There’s no way to choose the best path. I have a saying that ā€œthere is no good or bad path, only one less worse than the other,ā€ and Enterpott follows this adage very well.

By the way, I loved how NƩlio, Gwent, and Veve made a connection with Ze, Em, and Ari. Millie saying she feels sorry for the three of them and thinking of a parallel story about the reality that Enterpott had really got me (I hope I understood it right )

Doesn’t really make sense why Ze didn’t fund the shelter + a search for a suitable replacement, considering they have enough financial clout to pull off the fluffy choir. Heck, just dump some money on Shelter Mindset and his network, someone would be able to do Ella’s memory justice.

Entepott’s closure definitely makes narrative sense and is a very fitting end. Emilia’s burnout is also perfect. It’s just weird that Zeri has to hold the idiot ball to get the sadbox ending.

it’s not that she was stupid, it’s that ella refused the money and emilia just wanted to shut the shelter down, so ze was never given an opportunity to do anything meaningful
