id imagine the first fluffys would be more natural colors (browns and beiges, black and white) and the pastel colors in the future being part of the hasbio contract to sell as toys

Makes sense why there was originally a bias towards bright/colorful/“unnatural” colors, because initially they would have been rare. Wouldn’t take long for a misguided employee or a few mares misunderstanding a normal employee to create a bias/hatred of natural colors instead of a “preference” to other colors.
