Something that I read somewhere said that… like… apparently a really long time ago, before people understood basic things like bacteria, there was a myth that pain and other dental-related issues were caused by a sort of “tooth worm”.
And since nerves coincidentally look a little like worms… I wonder how many people in bygone times have seen and ripped out an exposed nerve. 
All myths have a certain seed of reality contained within… O_O
Bloody fucking hell, I’ve had one of these pulled with not enough anaesthesia and nearly passed out from pain.
If there was ever a time to bring back The Forbidden Badge, this is it. This is beyond normal fluffy abuse. This is beyond words.
This should qualify as human abuse, too. Mental abuse on every human that sees this.
