I’m gonna pretend that the panel with them sleeping in front of the fire is the last panel, partly because up to that point its sweet and funny, but mostly because I hate the caring-but-hopelessly-stupid-owner trope.
There is no way the Red, who is particularly moronic even by Fluffy standards, manages a convincing lie. So the owner clearly didn’t bother finding out what really happened. Which is stupid as hell–if they cared enough to buy the thing in the first place, why wouldn’t they care enough to listen to yellow.
Yeah, it ends with them sleeping peacefully. Better for my blood pressure that way.
