Or do something akin to cock fights with how they add talon spurs to their feet but instead its probably more akin to Hannibal and his elephants he used for execution, they put bladed shoes to their hoof pads.
Alternatively iirc an Artist-Kun art had like these bracelets with a spike on it that hurts them everytime one tried to hug them… that could work too
