Groups as a whole are kind of hard to grasp as a new member, or as an old member if you’re a dumbass like me. I still have no fucking idea what groups there are or where to find them and have only joined, what, two that were directly linked to me.
Maybe alongside this issue you could make an area on the front page or in a more visible place to view all the groups cuz wherever it is now I’m too fucking dumb to see it and I’m sure there’d be one or two I’d join.
As for opt in opt out…Honestly I think groups are a pretty dumb way to handle it entirely. People should just block tags they don’t want to see like normal people rather than the people who do want to see if having to join a visible members group. Just have the most heavily disliked/gross ones auto added to the list like other sites. Like if I wanted to look at an enfie baby getting it’s ass destroyed I’d just unblock that tag and look at it without having to worry about my name being forever listed on the “likes enfie babies” group page. (If I were worried about that, that is lol)
