In my timeline putting an M-80 inside a feral and letting it blow up inside them was considered a hilarious and wholesome pastime. (This is when ferals were a huge ecological issue, before they were redomesticated, mostly into food animals).
Unfortunately one feral who got this treatment was mortally wounded and her fluff set on fire, but she was still able to run through the dry brush. The resulting fire spread to an area the size of New York City before it was contained. After that the practice was banned.
Not gonna stop some people.
