haha i’ve been studying shafer’s art too, just because i love the headcanon that different styles of fluffy are different types of breed. what i noticed is that shafer’s fluffies are bulky and squat like a bulldog, while their heads are smallish and upright. so otherwise spot-on, especially the expression and tail.

you’ve captured them perfectly fine. the only suggestion i’d make is make the nostrils more vertical and slightly longer, implying a very flat muzzle. again, much like a bulldog.

That’s pretty damn good. I’d love to see a proper ShaferAraks bowl cut on the next one. I don’t know why, but something about bowl cut fluffies just tickles my prostate.

Don’t get me wrong, I like your take on the hair, too. It’s reminiscent of ShaferAraks but in a more refined way. His style, while detailed, is also delightfully crude in some respects.

Man… Would love to see a return of this style. Keep the good work up! His fluffies always looked so miserable and ugly but in a good way that made them very pathetic where the abuse felt unmerited always but that made it much more better. Such a cathartic style I’d love to see again. Can’t wait to see more!
Also maybe you’d like to complete some of his storylines if you feel like keep on working with this style? Maybe work more on the BronySlav/Princess comic or simply recreate some of the completed stuff?
