This makes me think of that French guy that tried to flush an obscene amount of Orbeez down the tub drain only for them to completely destroy the plumbing of the entire town, making everyone’s drains start backing up with Orbeez and feces.
Imagine if that happened with Fluffies.
Flufbeez, absobant fluffies, just add water for some translucent fluffy friends (they still shit just as much, it’s just brown transparent goo)
I thought that was shown to be faked? Mainly because they showed storm drains plugged up with Orbeez and sewage pipes don’t connect to those in the western world.

Ahh thank you! Everything I found kept saying it was ‘allegedly’ faked, I presume to not be caught by the cops
They’re saying it was ‘allegedly’ faked as they couldn’t find any proof at the the time that it was faked (the video the guy put out came some time later, and it took some time for people to verify it by tracking down the town and contacting the mayor’s office for confirmation, etc), so to avoid potential embarrassment and lawsuits in case they were wrong, they prefix any accusation with the word ‘allegedly’.
If you know what you’re looking for, you can see this sort of ‘hedging your bets’ and euphemistic language in almost every form of journalism and public statement.
A common one over here is ‘helping the police with their enquiries’ ie ‘the coppers have arrested or are holding someone for questioning, but have not yet formally charged them as the CPS don’t have a strong enough case yet’.
