The Fluffy Pony was initially made as an artificial pet species said to be the perfect animal, but circumstances lead to these creatures being set free too soon into development, they were weak and helpless, seemingly a species doomed to extinction had their extremely rapid rate of reproduction not been a factor, far from a species expected to survive a mass extinction. Against all that was against them, Fluffies were one of the few species able to survive the Holocene Extinction Event caused by rapid climatic shifts, and they have surprising adaptability for creatures once labeled as pests by long extinct humans.
