Snake is pretty adaptable. Many people would still be in a worse shape by the 3rd operation. And he is a fluffy.

Stage 3 is morbid humor. Once Snakefood starts making jokes about tummeh sketties we’ll know he’s fully adapted.

Snake’s full on surgical tech going on his 4th year. Enjoying his life and knowing that a tech is always needed but doesn’t have to worry about insane insurance hikes, Snake doesn’t want to go back to school and become either a nurse anesthesiologist or an actual surgeon. Life is beautiful and the only thing he’s going to worry about is if he wants to go out and be an “esplowing” stallion.

i feel he is confortable enough with his current living, hard to be more than a nurse/assistant when you lack opposable thumbs lol

Eh, chalk it to some form of Fluffy magic, being able to wielding any surgical implements. It’ll act like a thumb would, and it will help Dr Fixer in medical emergencies if Snake can easily handle being a tech almost all the time. He can even have a cute personal surgical tech fanny pack to help Dr Fixer in the field.
