Yes! I love Doctor Who so much.
Fun fact, Daleks were actually terrifying to the public for ages. But there was a popular joke going around for a while that if you met a Dalek all you had to do was run up some stairs.
In the 6th season of the show, if memory serves, the British public was horrified when at the end of an episode they were left with the haunting image of a Dalek using a rocket to go upstairs.
Me too! I’ve been rewatching all the William Hartnell episodes lately. He’s honestly one of my favourite Doctors. This is from an actual scene in The Daleks, the second Doctor Who story ever, from 1963.
I need to rewatch. But it’s not on Netflix anymore and that was the easiest way to watch it. ![]()
Doctor who is the best, though I got a little tired of it in later seasons. (The fans didn’t help)
I have them all on DVD, buying the episodes over the years, when visiting the UK. You can also order them on Amazon. (I think you can also watch some episodes online on Daily Motion.)
(I meant to reply to @father_dan_the_man haha)
Unfortunately yes. I mainly like the classic show and the Russel T Davies era.
Those are good, I lost interest after the 11th doctor I’m afraid.
I don’t know why, but even if I enjoy something the second someone raves about it and tells me over and over how it’s the best show ever, and how I should watch it I simply lose interest.
Same for Game of Thrones really.
Or Star Wars
Or Star Trek
Or anything people pester me about.
I love Star Trek…![]()
To be honest, I never even really liked the 11th Doctor that much. The newest things I actually enjoyed was The Day of the Doctor (the film) and the first Capaldi series. After that it went downhill for me and I mainly like the older stuff. (But I don’t mind others liking the new series.)
I can understand that. I never watched Game of Thrones. Sorry if I come across like raving about it too haha.
So do I!
Man I love this so much. The setting and the ancient TV set are so pleasant and immersive.
I watched it later ![]()
Thanks! I’m imagining this to take place when the episode originally aired. (I know it doesn’t really make sense because Fluffies weren’t supposed to be created until in the 21th century, but still.)
I love the idea of fluffies in other periods, imagine them in the industrial revolution?
BUGAR.
That would be really interesting. I’ve also been thinking about doing something with fluffies in the Victorian era before.
When I draw something (not only Fluffy stuff) I mostly like it to be set in the past, preferably some decade of the 20th century. Drawing very modern clothing/things in general is less fun to me.
