So here in the USA, pink panther (a cartoon character from the self titled show) was/is a mascot for home insulation. It comes in rolls that one installs in their home inside their walls. It can often be found exposed in basements and attics, with an extra roll or two laying around. It looks like soft pink cotton, but it’s actually made of fiberglass. If you touch it, it’ll burn/itch like crazy.

The reason why fibreglass ‘burns/itch’ like crazy is that the glass fibres cause microscopic cuts/punctures to your skin. On tougher skin like your hands, you usually don’t notice it until you get your hands wet afterwards and especially if you spill something acidic like orange juice.
On very thin, sensitive skin like a penis… ouch.
@Tenji95Scribbles Fibreglass inhalation is only an issue if you inhale it over extended periods and you’ll usually get better once you’re no longer exposed. Asbestos is much nastier however and that will have long term health issues.

So it was fiberglass XD. Buddy of mine worked with that in the past. So glad there are saunas in almost every building around here: sweating gets the dust out the pores pretty easy.
